Been at it half the day, burning pruned and fallen branches and old wood from picking up the property over the winter. Gonna throw some water on it soon and try to get as much charcoal as I can from it for the compost and garden

Also in the background is a smoke coming from a small ‘open burning’ (or ‘pagsisiga’ in Filipino) which is a common ‘backyard practice’ in the Philippines often done to drive mosquitoes away, and the bugs from fruit bearing trees, and basically to burn dried leaves.
