Bio: Not much is known about Thalia, and that’s exactly how she likes it to be. Her life is mostly spent moving from musician to musician, artist to artist, town to town. Her history lies in the thread of young men talented but taken before their time, in the work they left behind. They were a source of secret pride and some of her finest achievements.
Thalia’s first love had been a writer, and drawn by his pretty words, she took him for her own. She fed from his creativity and in return for his devotion she would give him her all, offer him inspiration and for it he would be a better artist. His life would be short, of course. She would take his life to feed her own, but that was the price of her love, and it was a fair one. In return for his affection his work became timeless. It graced the pages of the finest bindings where it remains in print today. It had been a number of years under her graces when he reached his height. Not long after that he began to sicken. The attachment ran deep and to some extent it was returned by her. The longer she remained around him the more he declined, but she wouldn’t part from him not-- while the potential remained, not while there was still breath in his body.
He didn’t reach his twenty-fifth year before he withered and died in her care. His last work was to be his legacy and a testament of her. However, without him the withdrawal had been agony. She had depended on him as much as he had her, and without him she began to starve and waste away. It was only a chance meeting in desperation with the dulcet tones of a street busker that the cycle repeated till the present day.
London was an opus of creativity, music, art, literature and film, and so many desperate men searching for that spark of creativity she so readily gave. Keeping an eye out for the next big thing, she scours the places most likely to house her next conquest. Museums, concerts and libraries were always hot spots. Sometimes she even sees her own work.
