Open to: Everyone Location: Any Bar "Jesus Christ," Kai breathed as he placed his drink down on the bar. His black, wool, coat was pulled around him tight. The collar popped up around his jawline as he turned to look at them. His blue eyes still looked bright as he faced them. "You look horrific." Kai grunted as he pushed his drink towards them. The drink, a tall pint of gods know what, was shedding small droplets of water down the side of it. The bar was busy but and the low hum of others talking and enjoying each others company fluttered around them. He smiled brightly, his normal, charming, attitude coming forward as he shrugged off his jacket. "Is this what happens, huh? I leave for a month or two and you go to shit?" He asked with a cocked eye brow.

Vampire

After sundown, most people in town would head inside in fear of any possible vampires that could be roaming around among them. However as usual there were always a few people who didn't believe in vampires.

A silver-haired man who resided in a local castle would sometimes take to roaming during the night.

The question was so unexpected that Junior looked her over for a few seconds to see if he could tell if this was some sort of joke at his expense or not.  He had a crush on her for as long as he could remember, but he never thought anything would come of it.  Instead, he focused on just being as good as he could to her, helping out however she needed and going out of his way for her frequently without hesitation or regret.  However, this favor was something he couldn’t quite understand.

“I’m sorry, so...  You want to..  do that with me... on camera?” he asked to be sure that he understood, “If... if this is some kind of joke...  Why would you even ask me to do it with you?  I never thought you might like me... that way, you know?”

Molly had been in the city for a couple of weeks now and most of her time had been spent at her new job at the library and when she wasn’t working she was unpacking and setting up her apartment. Other than a few of her coworkers - who were very lovely but also much older than her, or were teenagers volunteering after school, and a few various service workers while getting coffee or groceries, Molly hadn’t really been out or attempted to meet anyone new. She used to be so good at that and here she was, anxious about plans she had made to go out for a drink. A bar was a good place to meet friends, right? Hopefully there’d be someone there willing to chat, but if not, she had her book. It wasn’t hard for her to imagine how silly she might’ve looked to someone, or maybe the word was sad, or peaceful; to Molly there were many words to describe the moment. She would only hope onlookers would be so understanding. Upon her arrival she found herself a small high top table, not so far out of the way of the main bar area, but enough that she wouldn’t feel trapped. After ordering a glass of red wine she leaned her elbows against the table and propped her book in front of her. She had fully intended on half paying attention to what she was reading and attempting to interact with someone but in true Molly fashion she soon became engrossed in her novel, making faces every now and then in reaction to what she was reading.

Winter was one of Benji’s favorite seasons in Eureka. With the cold brought some of the biggest and most consistent waves. Early mornings out on the water meant having some of the best runs of his life — in retirement, of course. And while Benji was feeling particularly exhausted after an early morning spent on the Pacific, he was hardly going to miss watching Connor shove his face full of sweets and all of the many photos he was bound to take with Katie in tow. Somewhere between choir hymns and Connor trying to pet the carriage horses, Benji had lost track of the pair. So he meandered through, eating Connor’s Gerber cereal puffs to satisfy his munchies. And as tasty as the little blueberry flavored snacks were, nothing could possibly beat the smell wafting from the Panaderia’s stand, which had Benji accidentally cutting in line, something he’d be oblivious to until a glance behind him would find the very person he’d gracelessly stepped in front of. “Oh, sorry” He apologized with a toothy grin, stepping aside instantaneously. “That yule log is calling my name though.” Benji patted his stomach accordingly. “What’s your poison?”

To say that Frankie loathed the ordinary would be a gross understatement. Being a longtime resident of Chicago, and a loyal (but well buried) member of the Faust family, she knew exactly which places should have been off limits. But the thrill came from the possibility of being caught. Of slipping in and out of places that she might be killed for spending time in. But Frankie just liked to have a good time. Usually, she wasn’t looking for trouble. Not on American soil, anyway. Skyfall Bar was her favorite place to not belong. The view from the top of the city was nothing less than she deserved for a life well lived. In the evenings when the lights were dim, and the music was bland as could be, Frankie could strike up a conversation with any old bastard who decided to shoot his shot by offering her free booze. A little Clogau and she’s cozied up to some portly accountant, who’d somehow managed to grow accustomed to the smell of antacid on his own foul breath.   “See, the secret is, you’ve got to…” Frankie quickly kicked back what little scotch was left in her glass, before she smashed it’s bottom against the table, like she was squashing a giant bug. “Hit ‘em hard enough that the brain slaps right up against the inside of their skull.” Coarse as her words were, she spoke sweetly. Smooth, like milk and honey.
