Okay, so I know I get sappy and sentimental about my dog a lot. And I'm really not sorry for it but honestly this dog deserves the world and everything in it.

My weim friend convinced me to go to a barn hunt trial today. First trial we've done since April- which ended up being a disaster so we avoided trials and practice all summer. So of course I was super wary about how today would go. But he did wonderful at this trial in the past so I had a little hope at least.

But guys, today this dog absolutely rocked it. Almost zero reactions to the other dogs, killer focus, tunneled like a pro, and indicated really well!

Got our RATO title with a 2nd place finish (breaking our 3rd place streak). I was going to keep him in Open B but just said fuck it and moved him up to Senior. Well, he killed that too and came out with a 1st place ribbon!

Guys, I'm so proud of him and I just honestly love this dog so fucking much. And I just love watching him do his thing and having fun while doing it. Just. This dog man. This dog.
