Open-minded people don’t care to be right; they care to understand. They know it’s more important to see where someone’s coming from than it is to change their mind.

What Capricorns Are REALLY Like
Okay so I decided to make this post because I keep seeing a lot of misconceptions and sometimes ever hurtful analyses of Capricorns. Some zodiac posts call us cold, detached, isolated, bitchy, alcoholics (what even), so as a Capricorn I wanted to share what our minds are really like. Of course, every Capricorn is different because of everything else in their natal chart, so I’ll just focus on my experience at least.
1. We Give More Shits Than Any of Y’all
I get very pissed off when people call us unfeeling or say that we don’t care... because it’s the complete opposite. We have A LOT of emotions... we just bottle them all up. We have a lot to express, but we would rather not, because we don’t like seeming weak.
We also aren’t so bossy for nothing... We’re well known as the most successful and ambitious of the signs, and for some reason that makes people think we’ll walk over people for our own gain. This is usually pretty far from the truth. We find joy in not only ensuring our own success, but ensuring the success of people around us. We get bossy not because we’re control freaks, but because we want you to do better, achieve more, aim higher. We won’t be happy until you are.
2. We Can Be Pretty Playful
In my personal experience, I always come across as rude, cold, or horrible when people first meet me-- I’ve been TOLD this. People are always surprised when I open up around them though. Believe it or not, we’re NOT robots. Through our cold unfeeling shell of suppressed emotions is likely an idealist, witty, giggly little fuck.
3. Remember-- We’re Usually Never As Aggressive As We Come Across As
I’m not gonna lie, I threaten strangers. A lot. But only in real life. It’s a defense mechanism. We don’t like letting too many people in to our little bubbled because we’re sacred of infiltration of shit people. So we make sure to let in only the most persistent, caring of people, which explains why we’re compatible with the signs that we are (Virgo, Taurus, Scorpio, Pisces). When we know there’s no risk (like on this blog, for example) we tend to open up and show the much sweeter, open, and playful side of us. Our bark is usually bigger than our bite.
I had a lot to say about this, cause as a Capricorn, I’ve been a pretty lonely person. People misinterpret my words and actions, think I’m condescending or bossy, and it usually leaves me with only a few close friends. All I can do is advise you to give Capricorns a chance! Most of us will always stick by you and wish you the best, and maybe give a little unwanted direction (but we’re right and you know it).
Thanks for taking the time to read my little rant! Lots of Cap love <3

Subconscious judgement? Four ways to change your mindset
Do you ever make snap judgments of others without even realizing it? We all do. After all, there’s a lot to be said about our natural instinct to make quick decisions about people we meet, especially those who seem dangerous or untrustworthy. But that same reaction can sometimes lead us down the wrong path in forming meaningful relationships with other people. “Children must be taught how to…
