The young woman is disheveled, obviously distressed but trying to hide her worry. Izzy knocks on the door of the other and adjusts the little boy on her hip. “Look, I’m really sorry to bother you but I didn’t know where else to go. They called me in for an extra shift and Jonathan’s usual babysitter is sick so I don’t know where to take him. I can’t pay much but I’ll cook dinner or do your laundry or get you into Main Event for free—” Izzy takes a deep breath and looks the other in the eye. “Can you please watch Jonathan for the evening? Just until eight or nine, depending on how obnoxious the bowlers are.”
