So here I am, trying to set up an eCommerce system on my website (I found a stash of jewelry I’d made and thought, you know what? I’d like to get rid of this, and I’m going to have to spay Leeloo soon, and that ain’t cheap). It’s giving me hives, and I’m fairly close to giving up and putting myself under the thumb of Etsy. Display’s fine, but I’m having trouble with getting it to handle payments (via Paypal) and it’s decided it wants to return me undefined errors. So that’s delightful.
Anyway, the application is opencart and their logo is this:
[ Image description: a blue logo on white: above two blue horizontally-spaced dots, a swooshing line that extends from the right-most dot upwards and to the right, before sweeping back in an almost horizontal line, then curving up to the left. End ID. ]
I know, in my weasely little brain, that this is supposed to be a stylized shopping cart. But I’m telling you, I absolutely cannot unsee Johnny Bravo.
It’s on every page in the admin section, friends. Every page. And it’s the default image for a product until you upload an actual picture.
Oh! Bonus image, since I’m talking about the porch kitty again:
[ Image description: two three-week-old kittens laying on a soft cushion, sleeping curled up around one another. One is a black, orange and white calico -- she is the bigger of the two -- and the other is a white kitten with a striking black mask (just covering the eyes; there is a white streak all the way from his nose to the top of his head that separates the black mask into two sections) and a black stripe on his back that envelopes his entire tail. The itty bitty teensy weensy pink toe beans of his hind leg are just visible and make you just want to reach in there and tickle them because they are so tiny with such fuzzy little ears that just need to be gently massaged and they just need to be snuggled and loved end ID ]
The beans! They’re coming up four weeks old this coming Monday. I variously call them “T & L” or “Baji-Naji” or “Olive & Bruce” (after a dear friend’s cats). It’s so very hot outside that I’ve taken off the lid of the doghouse (that I bought them so they’d have more room) so they’d get more air. I need to order kitten food for them and will probably spring for a bigger water holder so that Leeloo is encouraged to hydrate (I change the water once or twice a day, but I understand that recirculating fountains encourage cats to drink more).
