The Knave of Hearts, he stole those tarts. ||

The syndrome of middle child always stung Ilosovic’s pride, always the second best, always behind Tristan. His father wanted him to be a scholar, the clever one, never letting Ilosovic training with the sword, no, that was meant only for Tristan, but young Ilosovic had other plans. He wanted to be respected and actually work along with the royalty, like Tristan was destined. Ilosovic started to resent not only his brother, but also his parents, for not understanding his needs, nor even wanting to give him a shot. Ilosovic would constantly get himself into trouble, a form to obtain his parents attention, such as stealing tarts from the princesses, because of that he started a rather odd friendship with Iracebeth. He would always pretend to steal her tarts and they would blame Mirana for it. 

As the years went by the man started to develop skills on being crafty and kept a distance from his family. Dropping his name, he started to be known as the Knave of Hearts, because he slayed everyone who was on his path. For that, he sided with Iracebeth on her claim for the throne. They understood each other, but in her case things were pretty much more complicated. Aligning his forces with hers, he helped her to steal the throne of queen Mirana. Ilosovic knew that Tristan would always side with The White Queen, and that was reason enough to go against her reign. What Ilosovic couldn’t understand was how Ace also sided with Tristan. Enraged by the situation, Ilosovic plotted alonside Iracebeth for the demise of his younger brother. For his surprise, the queen had other plans for him, she took his heart, and now, Ace is a puppet on her hands. 

As the Head Knight of The Red Queen, Ilosovic followed Iracebeth to this new world, he never doubted where he belonged, all the talks about power of Wicked Nine always lured him. He developed his own business of drugs selling, but never let Iracebeth’s side, he knows that one day she’ll find her sister, and wherever Mirana is, Tristan will always be. Ilosovic can’t wait for the opportunity to make his brother suffer how he suffered on the past.

Ilosovic thinks that Tristan is making a mistake, for Iracebeth won the war of their realm, and is just waiting for his opportunity to strike his brother.

Growing up, all he ever heard was the stories of his great grandmother. Of course, there were opposing sides in his family. Ben heard that she was a healing and that she was, in fact, a witch. Though he didn’t know which side to believe. Instead, he spent as much time as he could reading up on both parties story. There was evidence for both. Ben’s mother spent her entire life shaping him into the magical being he would grow up to become. Helping him learn all his great grandmother’s potions and spells. But nothing ever came of it. There was no magic that erupted from him. By the time he was fifteen it became obvious that they needed a little something extra to help his powers bloom and blossom. That little something extra happened to be his great grandmother, Sarah’s, Book of Shadows.

For years he and his family searched for this book. But to no avail. In his spare time, Ben began to write books. Or rather horror stories that he would share with his peers. By the time he was twenty-five Ben was now a published work of fiction. His stories being shared far and wide and he was sent to many book signings over his time as a horror author. On one book signing he found himself in a trip to the museum and here he found a group he had only heard of; Mystery Inc. It was here that he helped them with a case and invited them to his hometown of Oakhaven. Years had passed and with it his mother and the rest of his family. Since it had been several years since he had last been to his hometown he was unaware that Sarah was being portrayed as an evil doing witch or of the festivities surrounding it.

After about a week in Oakhaven with no luck in finding his great grandmother’s Book of Shadows, Ben took his leave and vanished in the middle of the night. He found himself in another city in search of the book. But it was in Portus Cale that he caught a news casting featuring none other than the Book of Shadows. All he had to do was claim it and that was a nonissue. Now with his hands on the book there’s no telling how his powers may manifest. While he spends his time trying to decipher the Latiin used in it and trying to put together Sarah’s work he brought her back to life to try and help him. But she has no interest in helping her great grandson. Leaving him on his own to try and figure out her work.

Sarah Ravencroft-->”The Wiccans imprisoned Sarah in her own spell book and you helped me find it!”

Growing up all he heard was about her greatest conquests. But once he brought her to help him he realized that he and Sarah were two sides of the same coin. Both too selfish for the other’s liking.

Velma Dinkley-->”What’s the matter Velma? Don’t you like the new, improved Ben Ravencroft?”

There was some speculation about whether or not he could use her interest in him to his advantage. Which he did. She was smart enough, however, to figure out that he was searching for something and with that he lost interest.

Hades-->”If it’s one God you don’t want to get steamed up; it’s Hades.”

While they don’t exactly see eye to eye, they do however understand one another. Hades helps him try to figure out the language barrier with the Book of Shadows and Ben, in return, gives him business.

Uh, guys, Mount Olympus is that way ||

As the oldest of four, he was given the most responsibility. His mother was always too busy doing drugs and his father was too busy doing anything other than being a father. When his sister was born it became his job to look after and care for her. Same happened when his brother was born. But the worst and last straw was when Zeus was born. Suddenly, his parents wanted to be just that. They fawned over their youngest child and gave him everything his little heart desired. While Hades took the back seat and never once looked back. He started to actually live his life and do what he wanted to do instead of being parent to his siblings. Of course, seeing this only made the rivalry between the brothers worse as Zeus started to act out and cause all kinds of problems in the house. Blaming them on Hades and causing him to get beaten by their father.

Years and years of this only made his blood boil and eventually Hades harbored a deep seated hatred for his youngest brother. Zeus got everything handed to him on a silver platter while he got daddy’s fist. There was one instance where Zeus pushed the button too far and caused Hades to snap. A blue flame erupted from him and set almost the entire houses to turn up in smoke. By now he was sixteen and it was here that he learned that not only did he have this incredible flame but he could unlock the gates to Hell as well. He could call upon the souls of the dead and command them. He was truly a force to be reckoned with. Once Zeus was old enough to move out of the house he had had enough of his father and gave him a taste of his own medicine. But with fire to match his fury. 

All the siblings moved on from their realm. Leaving their childhood trauma behind. Though after a time they all stopped aging and time was no matcch for them. However, Hades wasn’t satisfied with leaving his father with broken bones and bruises. He decided to take things a step further and take what Zeus loved most from him. Following him to a new realm and marking his best friend, Hercules, as his target. Sending his cohorts Paine and Panic after him to take care of unfinished business. But when that failed he had a new trick up his sleeve; Megara. She was as feisty and filled with hate as he was and when his brother moved to Portus Cale it was time to make his move. Hades sent Meg after Hercules with no sweat off his back and all he had to do was sit back and watch the show.

Memo to me, maim you after my meeting ||

His sweet little Nutmeg. It would be a lie to say he hasn’t grown rather fond of her company. What would he do without his ace up his sleeve? Pushing her buttons gives him life and while she clearly hates him, there’s a little part of him that loves it.

If there is ever someone who could calm his soul it’s her. He truly cares for her the way he hasn’t anyone else. There’s a bond there that can never be broken. A tale that will outlive the both of them. Let other tell their stories to the heavens.

Being the mayor’s son gave him several privileges as a child. One of which meant he got to watch his father do everything around the town where he grew up. Watching his father do it all gave him an unbridled hatred for the founder of the town; the Skellingtons. The man did absolutely nothing for their town. At least nothing that Osten saw. He had a young boy just his age and that hatred got attached to him as well. He began to terrorize the town. Using his privilege to get what he wanted and going as far as to teach his young cousins to do the same, Though they weren’t too far behind him. Osten was a truly terrifying brute and used his magic to get ahead. Threatening those who didn’t appease him or do exactly as he ordered them to. It was no sweat off his back. All he wanted was to teach the Skellington boy that everything he could do Osten could do better.

When the founder passed away it was a small victory for the Bogs. But everything got handed to Jack; the founders son. Osten was furious and started trying to terrorize him as well. Though nothing seemed to work as Jack was just as friendly to him as he was everyone else in town. Eventually, he got tired of trying all his old tricks and had an idea. Osten would use his cousins to get closer to Jack. They would go and be his friend and come running back to him and tell him everything that Jack had planned. That way, he could be ahead of the game and everything would be his in no time. However, he could tell that his favorite cousin, Bastion, was having some second thoughts about it all. Osten went out of his way to reassure him that everything would be fine and he would profit from his efforts.

Eventually, it came time for Jack to leave their realm in search of something greater. It was his turn to show the town what he could do! But his father only brushed his ideas away. Telling him to go back to do what he did best. Osten was furious but did as his father said. Noticing that his magic was slowly dying out, he too ventured to Portus Cale in search of Yen Sid. Hoping that he could save his magic and in the meantime he could thwart Jack and their town would be his for the taking as soon as he returned.

He loathes his entire existence. Hoping that he can maybe get rid of him once and for all.

Sharlene, Lucien and Bastion Lyles-->”’Cause Mister Oogie Boogie is the meanest guy around.”

His darling little cousins. He holds them close and keeps a close eye on them. Though giving Bastion a little more lead way than the others.

Rothbart--->”No more, Mister Nice Guy. No sir-y!”

He looks up to the older man and hopes that he will take him under his wing and teach him everything he knows.

Odette-->”Although you’re here with me.”

Regretfully, he had grown rather fond of the woman. Feelings have surfaced and he often tries to woo her.
