So after having last nights silly realisation, I got fixated on "...can I make a concert program on opera dad's?"
The answer is absolutely I can but not quite yet, I don't know personally enough arias for time to actually present it. But I definitely want to program one, so I started working on the concept
Of course, one has to introduce some of the various archetypes of bass voices, and so I was being rather boring and writing a speech until this happened:
For those of you who know their roles this one might be familiar
The litany of syllables they spit is quite peculiar
For basses comic characters are our first domicilliar....
And really there's no role more fun or frankly any sillier
At the moment I've only got about 20 minutes of arias on my list, so I need to find (and learn) another 20 minutes or so. If people on operablr have recommendations, please do hit me with them
