Resident Evil Director's Cut Playstation 1997
A new national law has been introduced to require all Operating Systems to have mandatory Age Verification. House Resolution 8250 : “To require operating system providers to verify the age of any user of an operating system, and for other purposes.” The Federal bill was introduced by Rep. Josh Gottheimer, Democrat from New Jersey. And is co-sponsored by Elise M. Stefanik, Republican from New York. The full text of the bill has not yet been made publicly available (but is expected shortly).

I'm not sure this has reached people on Tumblr yet, so I thought I'd link to what I used to deal with Windows 10 support for security updates being dropped soon given that I don't have a Microsoft account, never want to make one, and hate Windows 11. So happy this was made!

I reported on this already, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE SAID AGAIN!!!!🇺🇸⭐️
The US is trying to get age verfication on operating systems! This is obviously very, VERY bad!
Requiring age verfication just to get on an operating system is tyrannical and overstep of power. These people who run this country are insane and you need to be against this!
This is a slippery slope into authoritarianism and fascism!
They are literally trying to restrict your access to information by making your device unusable unless you verify!!!
(I know people might be able to run another operating system on their device ,but who knows, they might go after those, too! If I'm not mistaken, they already went after Linux. I think Linux declined to follow the rules if they were implemented. Also, many people do not know how to do that.)
Please, people who live in the US:
