From what I heard, operation johnlock was a success. I must congratulate you for such a great plan.
That operation is still moving forward, dear anon.

going into this season thinking it'd be canon (as in unambiguous kissin) in episode 3, i was surprised after tld that they hadn't made it more blatantly obvious. i was thinking, as a lot of us were, that they'd want to get their casual viewers caught up and on board and rooting for john and sherlock along with us before the big payoff. the show hasn't got there yet, i don't think. we always knew it was a long game (Depth and Time™), and it might be a bit longer yet. after s3 aired and people were realizing that, holy shit, they're really going there, there was a lot of theorizing about an s5 endgame. i don't think it's automatically shit writing if it's not explicit in tfp; i think it's one prediction not panning out. remember how we're always saying what's awesome about tjlc is that we throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and see what sticks? we don't need to be distraught if sunday doesn't turn out the way we hoped. if there's any movement toward it, if it becomes any clearer to the general audience, then we're still on track. operation johnlock is ... getting there.
The tedious camping is over and I can finally go Home with my internet and books and tea.
Flashing before his eyes...
Ok so just before Sherlock came back from the dead and regained consciousness we see some images quickly flashing away in his head. And since our dear showrunners always hide vital information’s in the episodes I’ve extracted the images to take a closer look.
Well at first glance it looks like Sherly is recapping the events that led to his state. CAM showed them the letters. Thinking it would be placed in his office that night while CAM’d be busy with some meeting, he broke in there with John. But then not only did CAM turn out to be in his office but he was being “harassed” by another intruder. And this is where it gets puzzling.
The reason he is panting on the operating table is because that unexpected intruder turned out to be friggin’ Mary and she shot him. So I don’t understand why he isn’t recapping that vital moment.
Also if you take a closer look at the images you'll see CAM stooping on his way out of the door (after showing them the letters) and turning around to say something. I quickly grabbed my s3 DVD’s and watched the moment and looks like there is no such scene!! The closest we get is CAM starting to walk out the door and the perspective is changed so the scene is shot through the kitchen witch blocks our view of him by his bodyguards. So it's not like that scene never happened it's just that we didn't get to see it in the show. But why is Sherlock analysing CAM's movements blow by blow and ignoring the whole Mary reveal?
More speculation on the hidden CAM scene. We couldn't see him turn back on his way out but also didn't hear anything from him after he said, "Anyway, they're funny". But in the flashing images we see him say something on his way out. So looks like CAM stopped to say something but changed his mind at the last moment or something. How intriguing!
Anyways, I’d love to hear your interpretation of this tiny little scene.

No matter how intensely we ship John and Sherlock Moffitson will always be the greatest johnlock shippers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
