SPOILER: Of Ghosts and Phantoms
In the new Operation Oracle you meet Walker, a Former Ghost Team Leader. Now you’ll find out why he’s here and why he’s doing what he’s doing and the way he is.
Once you complete it and if you’re familiar with Ghost Recon Lore then you know that in the future a group called The Phantoms, which are comprised of former Ghost Members who have been wronged by the Govt and Country they fought to protect.
Just think about that group when you meet Walker.
BECOME A GHOST...
For those of you that missed out on ‘Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ at launch then there’s no time like the present! Starting tomorrow 2nd of May and running until the 5th, the game will be FREE and available to play. It looks like Ubisoft just made those weekend plans for you eh...
They’ve tactically thrown together this mini trailer to whet your appetite for taking down the ‘Santa Blanca Cartel’, should you choose to head to Bolivia for a few days. We hear it’s nice at this time of year! Innocent killing and major drug production aside.
Enter a massive open world across the country and own a total freedom of choice with where you head. It’s safe to say that the cartel have rooted themselves deep into every acre so take nothing for granted and stay alert.
Don’t want to head there alone? Well we’d certainly say safety in numbers is the way forward! Invite your friends along in the full 4 player co-op feature and even though you’ll be outnumbered, you’ll have someone watching your back.
The free play isn’t all though... Tomorrow is a double whammy with Ubisoft also confirming a new narrative arc containing two free missions, entitled ‘Operation Oracle’. This will send the Ghosts on a rescue mission for a Skell Tech engineer taken hostage by Unidad. As with any mission it’s never that simple and it always takes a turn for something much bigger! Look out for Cole D. Walker, a Ghost Team Leader on the hunt for truth.
The FREE play will indeed include this new narrative so if you’re spoiled for choice on where to go first, this could be a good place to start.
