More Railjack Crew Headcanons
The trio are paid extremely well each month and are armed to the teeth with Tenno weaponry. On one occasion, Lin was on call to a mission as additional backup. Artemis was kicked out of her Warframe, knocked out after her head hit a rock. Lin grabbed her and threw her to cover, taking heavy fire and a few injuries in the process of completing the mission. As a thank you for saving her life, Artemis replicated a copy of her Innodem and Lin didn't hesitate to show it off and rub it in Admis' face for half a day.
The Railjack is equipped with a mess hall, sleeping quarters and recreational items and other amenities that a full crew would need for long and short term missions in space. Food supplies can last for decades due to the use of stasis technology. Lin surprisingly is a good cook, he doesn't reveal much about his past often but mentioned that he learned how to look after himself.
The Railjack stays mostly in space, and the crew can either choose to leave and bunk at Drifter Camp or stay up in the ship. Igbann and Admis prefers to be in space, Lin on the other hand has a small tent setup with a hammock so he can whittle and look at the stars before he sleeps.
Igbann goes back to Iron Wake every two weeks. She sends most of her earnings back to Steel Meridian to ensure other former Grineer get the best chance of success to live a better life. She admires Kahl-175's mission and has met him a few times when the Captains need additional firing support on Railjack missions.
Admis does miss certain aspects of being a wealthy scion of a high ranking Corpus family such as privacy and space. The one thing he does miss were his books - true to the Void actual printed paper books from way before Orokin times. He briefly mentioned this during one dinner at the Camp, and the next week, he mysteriously found his collection of books packed neatly on his side of the bunk, coincidentally when Lin came home from shore leave.
Out of all the three, Igbann is the most open about her past, she talks about her time as a Grineer soldier a lot - she has nothing to hide and believes that what a person does now has more weight than what they were before. Admis talks about his time as a Corpus Scion, he has a lot of guilt about how people starved and how his family treated each other, not with affection or love but how they were all considered property of the family and how useful they were determined their life in the Corpus worlds. Lin is probably the most secretive, whilst the whole crew knows he was an exiled colonist, Lin doesn't talk much about it, preferring to brush it off like no big deal or diverts attention with his loud and boisterous behaviour.
Whilst Cephalon Cy is a strict Executive Officer, he cares about his crewmates and watches over them like a mother bear. He intervenes when he feels necessary which is a lot. Gideon and Artemis relentlessly teases Cy about his mothering. Cy will deny everything.
