I. Do you have any particular inspirations when you write fanfic?

Sometimes songs can inspire ideas, or if I’m thirsty fangirling with a friend and we discuss headcanons, one might latch on and I suddenly have to write it. Most of the time my brain and muse just randomly collaborate and are like HEY! WE KNOW IT’S 3AM BUT WHAT IF....

P. What are your favorite tropes to write?

age gap, size difference, power dynamics (usually the guy being the dom), the grumpy asshole one being attracted to the sassy sunshine one, and when the mood hits me I love a good dub-con idea

The glorious @girlwiththepapatattoo once commented on a fic of mine and described my “specialty” as “sweet and tender, yet rough and dirty at the same time” and that was such a fantastic compliment (I screenshot it to look at when I need a pick-me-up), as well as making me go huh...guess it is! XD

Y. What is your favorite genre to write? (angst, fluff, pwp, etc.)

I’d say PWP....except I always need at least some backstory. So I guess it’s more “porn with a little bit of plot”.

@opheliadawnwalker3 Well, we aren’t sure but there is the word “affair” there which can lead people to believe so, besides the advertisement seems to have a “we” in its text. But besides that, I’m really wary about this book ‘cause we know how often we get young MCs and a romance between a young nanny and their boss, a male boss...ugh, feels quite difficult to stomach. I mean, they (choices) would need to pull a very VERY good slow burn or it will probably be terrible.....Like, as much as Choices can romanticize employer and employee’s relationships, these relationships seem to be more leaned to be awful relationships if the boss is interested on his employee...One needs to be very lucky to get a slow burn because the boss who is interested in his female employee is actually quite respectful of her.

Ok! I think I got one for Hellboy (Ron Perlman of course) you’re part of the agency and you get hurt during a mission. Think a brutal scratch on the upper thigh by a venomous demon. Hell boy begrudgingly has to help you dress the wound and stay with you all night to make sure the poison doesn’t take effect. Annnnnd Go!

Hey there! I was wondering if you could reccomend any specific Predator comics to read 😊 i wasn't too pleased with the new movie but i'd love to see more yautja content

Okay, so, I’ve been thinking about this ask for awhile. Was going to do a whole thing on the comics. BUT, it sounds like you’re more starting to get into the comics(?), so I shall recommend you what I personally started with, & a few more recent entries that I think are good for ‘starters’… 

 1. THE ORIGINAL 1989 ALIEN VS PREDATOR SERIES

 It’s the original & ran for I believe (8) issues. It’s the beginning of one of the Predator (& Alien) universe’s most prolific human characters: Machiko Noguchi. It’s a fantastic comic and if you want a more detail version of it (including some of the best Yautja expanded universe lore), check out the novel AVP: Prey by Steve & Stephani Perry. 

 2. CONTINUING ON THAT THERE IS THE STILL AFFORDABLE AVP OMNIBUS #1

It furthers/continues Machiko’s story (AND includes the original AVP) with a few arcs & even has ‘Duel’ which has Light-Stepper’s battle with a Predalien. 

 3. PREDATOR: FIRE & STONE 

 A more modern story that makes use of the questionable ‘Prometheus’ lore… However Ahab is a Yautja worth reading about, and his hunt for the Engineer is the one good thing out of Prometheus (2012). 

 4. CONCRETE JUNGLE (VERY DIFFERENT THAN THE CLASSIC GAME)

 This is an odd one for me to recommend as it sort of involves a Predator invasion. But, it’s the first comic appearance of the Predator and has an interesting behind the scenes story. It’s rumoured to be the scrapped plot for Predator 2 (1990), following Dutch’s brother in New York. Again there is also a novelization. 

 5. BIG GAME 

This is one of those classic basic Predator stories. Which pits a Yautja against a military enrolled Native American in the New Mexico desert. Another cool thing is the Yautja are like an Ancient Legend. Again, there’s also a novel. (A point to note is that this has enough of a classic status to warrant Prime 1 Studios making a statue of the Issue #1 cover art). 

 6. BAD BLOOD 

 An absolute CLASSIC. This is THE story about Bad Blood/‘Criminal’/Dishonoured Yautja… And the hunters that go after them. 

 7. BONUS: IF YOU RANDOMLY COME ACROSS THIS AND ARE UNSURE ABOUT DELVING INTO PREDATOR COMICS… MAYBE TRY THE BATMAN CROSSOVERS(?) 

 There’s 3 of them. I’d recommend starting with the original/1st one of course. 

(EVERYTHING ON THIS LIST YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET DIGITALLY, OR HUNT DOWN A PHYSICAL COPY. THERE’S DEFINITELY BUDGET OPTIONS, & SOME FREE AROUND) 

 Anyways, I hope that helps get you started, and that you enjoy some of these recommendations.
