hard day :(
our 19yo cat rowan had a mini stroke in the night a couple days ago. she's been walking really slow and not eating anything since. but she had a couple days where she was able to move around more, and she sat in with my mam on her armchair like normal on saturday and today she had a walk around the garden, which she also likes doing
we called the vet again this morning and it was clear we would need to put her down :( i got off work a little early to make sure id be home beforehand, and that's when she went out for her walk
shes been so so good :( she's my sister's cat, and we got her when i was 11 so we had her for a very long time. she used to be way meaner and moodier lol, but in the last few years she's gotten soooo sweeties and docile. she's been OBSESSED with my mam, like going up to her bed every morning and going with her around the garden when she looks after the flowers, and then spending the day/evening sitting on her armchair with her. it's been such a 180 but im really glad she's been so comfortable the last few years
it was really hard but the vet and the nurse were really nice. they've been really lovely with her over the years, and they also said they're sad because rowan was the oldest cat on their register 😭 sweet girlllll little old ladyyyyy
glad we got so much time with her. very sorry she had a tough few days at the end but im glad she got to see the garden again :( i hope she was as happy and comfortable as possible, i love her a lot
