King: Do you ever think about how weird cooking is? Like, with oven temperature and how long it takes to make stuff?

Saitama: All the time. How high do most ovens go, anyways? Like five hundred degrees?

King: I think so. But if you put most food into the oven with the heat that high, it’ll burn.

Saitama: But why is that? Like say you’re making a cake and it’s supposed be in a three hundred and fifty degree oven for thirty minutes. Why can’t you just put the cake in at five hundred and it’s done in like, ten? Wouldn’t that make more sense?

King: You know what? They need to start inventing food that doesn’t take so long to cook. Why am I spending an hour marinating a steak, cutting up potatoes and onions, pouring out of a good bottle of wine … just to eat it all in less than ten minutes? Whats the trade-off there?

Saitama: A bunch of dirty dishes and a counter you have to wipe down. You’re right, that is kinda stupid.

King: We should train our stomachs to get used to eating raw food. We’d never have to clean up again if we just ate meat right out of the packages.

Saitama: You know what? That’s a great idea, King! I mean, if animals can do it, why can’t we?

Genos, to Fubuki: Remember when I told you that I never let Saitama cook because I didn’t trust him? And you told me that I was being “silly”?
