Will Sesame Street bring back Herry monster AND an actress who is deaf, just like they had with Deaf actress Linda Bove in the 1970's?
It's time. ...in 2026, it's all about inclusion.
Include children on Sesame Street who are Deaf and use American Sign Language to communicate as well as children who wear hearing aids, and or cochlear implants...have them star on the shows on tv to be shown a daily basis, not just once in a while.
It shouldn't be just American and Spanish languages. Children can learn up to 5 different languages.
There are 22 million people with some kind of hearing loss. Let's include American Sign Language. 22 million people may be happy to watch these new shows. I'm 59 and I still love Sesame Street but I'm disappointed by their lack of American Sign Language.
People who don't accept or encourage American Sign Language are actually oppressors. Audism is a very dirty word. 😔
22 million, that's a lot of viewership and merchandise sales. Herry monster's character image mixed with American Sign Language 🤟 will surely create more sales for Sesame Street.
It seems to be a win-win for Sesame Street, hope these ideas get noticed!
Let's go Herry monster and Sesame Street!
🤟☺️💜🤟🚦🛣️👍🙂🦻💙👍
