Instead of all the angst scenarios how about a super fluffy (borderline OOC lmao) scenario of Law? 😊
Thank you for letting me cleanse my soul a little bit.
“Hey! No, that’s cheating!” Law exclaimed, slapping hiss/o’s hand away from the stack of cards. They pouted and withdrew their hand.
“This game isn’t fair! You’re an experienced player, and I’mstill learning.” Law had started to teach his s/o how to play poker, and sofar, they sucked.
“You’ll learn. And it doesn’t help any that I already knowyour tells.” Law smirked, looking at his s/o over his cards.
Their eyes widened. “What? I have tells? What are they?”they asked him, holding their cards limply in their hands.
“Well, for one, when you lie, your right eyebrow twitches.Your eyebrow was twitching like crazy the night you told me that Shachi was theone who broke my desk chair when you and the idiots were racing them down thehallway.” He looked up at them, his smirk widening.
His s/o blushed and hid behind their cards. “We fixed yourchair, didn’t we?”
“You bought a new one. And then promptly broke that one.”His s/o set their cards down and stepped around the table, straddling his legs. They took a glance at his cards.
“Huh. I would have actually won that round.” They said, before leaning down and pressing their lips to his. Law smiled, setting hiscards down and running his fingers through their hair. They were alone in therec room, and thus weren’t concerned about being seen. However….
“Get a room you two.” Penguin said, walking through on hisway to the mess hall, covering his mouth with his hand as he yawned. Law andhis s/o looked up as he passed, and grinned.
“Don’t forget, we’ve got a race later!” Penguin called out,and Law’s eyes widened, looking at his s/o.
“Oh, no. Not another one.” He said, watching as his s/osuddenly hopped up.
“We’ll try not to break anything!” As they spoke, rightbefore his eyes, their right eyebrow twitched. ‘Oh, hell no.’ he thought.
“Room… Shambles.” His s/o shrieked as they fell back intohis lap, and laughed.
“Now, THAT’S cheating.” They told him, and he smirked as hisarm wrapped around their waist.
“I’m not letting you break my office chair for the… what isthis, fifth time?” he asked, slowly
“Sixth.” He nodded, leaning down.
“Right. Sixth. Therefore, I am not letting you leave my sidetoday.” He said, gently laying them down on the bench.
“Well, that doesn’t sound half bad, Captain.”
