Snow Day (Phan)

Happy Holidays! This was really fun to make and I hope you enjoy it. Sorry if it’s sucky. :)

Dan glared at the TV screen where a weatherman was reporting how a blizzard was heading toward London. He hated the man for even mentioning snow, but of course it wasn’t the man’s fault because he was only doing his job.

“It’s getting colder.” Dan thought rubbing his hands together to warm himself up. Finally, Dan couldn’t take it and headed for the thermostat. He quickly spins the dial-up.

Dan walked back to the living room and plopped down on the couch. He soon began playing with a loose thread on his shirt ignoring what the weatherman was saying.

“We are now receiving news that the blizzard is cutting off people’s power. Stay safe out there because this blizzard may last for a few days.”

Dan’s eyes widen and he curses at the man and his ugly tie.

Suddenly the TV cuts to black followed by lights turn off leaving Dan in complete darkness.

“Dan!” Phil cried. Damn it! Dan had completely forgotten about Phil. With a heavy sigh Dan began to search for a torch.

“Fuck!” He cursed holding his now throbbing toe. “Stupid table.”

“Dan, what’s happened to the power?!” He heard Phil shout.

“Hold on a minute.” Dan pulled out his iPhone and turned on the flash.

“Idiot.” He cursed himself for forgetting about his phone. Careful for any furniture in his way Dan walked to Phil’s room. Phil was sitting on his bed with his laptop.

“I forgot to mention that there’s a blizzard and it’s been cutting of people’s power. So, now we’re going to freeze out asses off.” Dan rubbed his neck and shrugged his shoulders. “Sorry.” Phil was quiet for a while and Dan thought he was furious with him.

“Well you’re going to catch a cold walking around in just skinny jeans and a shirt. Come here.” Dan shuffled over to Phil and sat on the edge of his bed while Phil dug through his drawer. Phil pulled out a bright green hoodie and tossed it to Dan.

“Thanks.” Dan mumbled and slipped the hoodie over him. They were both silent other than Dan’s chattering teeth. Phil pulled his blanket over both of them. Dan blushed and nodded a ‘Thank you’.

“You know..this blizzard is going to last for a while…” Dan mumbled.

“Mhm”

“It’s only going to get colder without a heater since you broke mine…”

“Just shut up and cuddle with me, Dan.” Without another word Dan wrapped his arms around Phil and buried his head into his neck.

“Looks like we’re gonna a snow day.” Phil says with a small smile.
