Have you ever read the webcomic Sister Claire? It’s about a nun named Claire in a world where magick is forbidden who has an uncomfortable relationship with the Savior. It’s split into two sections, a comic, and a written story telling of past events with small illustrations. (This is because the girls making it excel in two different skills, one writing and the other visual art.) I think you’d love it. Please don’t read the latest story pages though. Not yet.
I actually followed Sister Claire for a bit when it debuted back in 2009, but ended up dropping it because I found the artist’s preoccupation with bizarre toilet humour really offputting.
(I gave the archives a quick skim just now, and it looks like the 2016 reboot actually removed some of the more egregious examples from the earlier pages - which is saying something, given how much of it is still present!)
