And this isn't even beginning on how ableist the "evil alter ego" shit is. Like.
YEAH. NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THAT. UGH, IT’S FUCKING AWFUL.
What platform do you use to make these?
Just the messaging app on my phone
I just change the phone theme and my own contact info and picture
Maybe later today once I get home or tomorrow I can better show how I go about it but I hope this answers your question for now :D
The post thingy about german magnus got me thinking: What would a Cybertronian accent sound like?
Oh mate I dunno, especially where english accents are concerned. I could tell you when a person is talking queen’s english (thats the one I learnt in school) or cockney english, but beyond that I cannot tell anything apart. So like that I can only talk about accents in a german context (which we don’t not call accents btw, we call it dialect)
And like that I just need at least one cybetronian city have a habit of putting a “the” in front of names.
Like they don’t say “Megs is coming”, they say “The Megs is coming.”
Here where I live that’s such a common way of speaking, I didn’t even realise that’s not done anywhere else until I read it in a book xD The joke in the book was that two dudes from the south kept talking about a girl called Jana, and the protagonist, from Berlin, kept thinking her name was Diana because she was always referred to as “Die Jana.”
Also there needs to be some puns and word plays that only make sense for mechs from a specific place. A pun that only works with a specific dialect.
From my own experience there is this meme everyone here in my home place gets, but when I lived in the north for a year and showed it to my friends there, no one understood it.
My sister, still living in the north, showed the thing to one of her friends who didnt get it, who then showed it to her husband who comes from the same place as us and he laughed his ass off while she was just ???
And mind you, the meme is still in german xD But if you are not familiar with the local dialect you just won’t get it!
That’s a thing you could work in for Transformers. Seekers from Vos laughing about a joke no one else gets because of it’s a word play only people familiar with the vosian dialect get.
But alas I am not someone who has knowledge about language, but maybe these thoughts were entertaining ~
As for any german followers I might have, here is the meme, tell me if you get it
Top five teas or hot drinks 👀
I suppose with “tea” being a part of my username that it only makes sense to have a list of my fave teas. Fun fact: I drink cold tea all year round and usually have hot tea during the winter months, sick days, or times when I need a little extra something to relax.
I’m including cold teas in this list which might be cheating but oh well. It’s still tea, so it counts in my book.
Top Five Teas
Lemon (hot and cold)
Sweet (cold)
Raspberry (hot and cold)
Hibiscus (hot and cold)
Chai (hot)
Thank you for the ask!
!!! thanks !!! i overthink things
Oh, you’re the op of this post! It was truly great, I love knowing those little details! I’d love too see more of those if you ever do them!!
