it takes sam quite a few weeks to get used to the basis of cell phones. growing up in the 80′s and 90′s left him with wired house phones and phone booths. rafe buying him a smart phone was for his own self gain , but quickly had to have a rundown with sam on how to use it. being in prison so long completely left him in the dark about new technology. referring to cell towers as ‘radio towers’ even in 2016.
