I mentioned in my reblog to amtrak-official yesterday that I'm traveling to NYC by train in like 1.5 weeks. Since then, I have fallen asleep and woken up and am now extremely anxious about the trip and have not been able to focus on work at all today. I have not traveled since high school.

(Is anyone following me during that time still active? Do you remember when I was blessed with the chance to visit Europe with my classmates? Fun fact: my trip was partially funded by a scholarship and I worked 30 hours a week to cover the rest and my food on the trip, and I'm unsure how I did that.)

So this is like my first adult trip and it's only me and my SO. So there's like no one to cover for us if something goes wrong. And I can't pack the most "efficiently" because I gotta be careful about my bridesmaid 'dress' (it's actually a jumpsuit yay) and my SO's suit. So like ahhhhhh I'm stressing y'all. I'm super excited about what we have planned, so I gotta focus on that.

But those of you who follow me, do you have any tips for traveling? Or packing? Or does anyone live in the northeast of the USA (or a similar climate) have tips about the weather (or NYC information specifically)?

I'll probs schedule posts for the days I'm traveling so that I won't be missed here. And like I did when I got the chance to visit Europe, I might make a post when I'm done about my travels and what I got to so if anyone seems interested.
