Maybe I'm being picky, but I think some of the questions from "Jellicle songs for Jellicle cats" fit some cats better than the one's being used.

this whole vsco girl meme has really been bothering me and i think i figured out why

for some reason we take any trend young girls start doing it and categorize it and then use that to make fun of them. we make fun of pumpkin-spice girls, gamer girls, e-girls, horse girls, vsco girls, whatever-girls and you all know exactly what im talking about and can probably think of other categories yourself

why do we have to make fun of young girls all the time simply for enjoying things? why do we have to reduce them to the material items they enjoy and nothing more? who cares if they laugh a little annoying or like scrunchies or dress a certain way? ya’ll really gonna let men spit on the concrete but bully girls for wearing burks and drinking iced coffee? leave them alone!

u ever think oso sometimes looks at himself then looks at all his brothers like 

karamatsu’s got his painfulness. he loves to try english words out, fancy words, puns, a shitty fashion sense and guitar skills. 

choromatsu’s responsible. he’s the most motherly out of all them, most serious and is into idols all the time. 

ichimatsu’s the brooding character, who’s dark and terrifying, but he’s got cats by his side and is pretty normal occassionally. 

juushimatsu’s like the sun, bright, cheerful, random and crazy. he can also be the most terrifying, and has the most hidden depths out of his brothers. 

totty’s got a social life, he’s two-faced, got an average sense of fashion, had gotten a job before and is a smooth talker.

....and what does he have?

do you ever think oso unintentionally compares himself and finds that he’s got no defining trait? do u ever think the reason he constantly says he’s the oldest is bc he has nothing else except “eldest son?” 

do u think sometimes it breaks him inside bc his brothers have all this character, these traits that define them, features that make them different and stand out. 

and what does he have? 

if he wasn’t the oldest, what is he?

nothing.

I find Underbelly/Glimmer unacceptably weird-looking on male Pearlcatchers (idk it highlights their weird anatomy in my eyes) but on another breed/sex definitely something I’d consider!
