Headcanon what you want. Because you can do whatever you want forever. It's free. Especially headcanon whatever characters you want as aro or ace, because I know ya'll are lacking in representation.

But.

I need people who are neither a-spec or autistic to stop headcanoning obviously autistic characters as a-spec BECAUSE of their autism/autistic traits. You do not know how freaking ablist you come across. Why is it always the autistic characters and never the neurotypicals? Why is it you see a character and say you think they're autistic because "they would be too busy with their toys anyway" and would find feelings "a distraction from their work". That is just. Gross as hell.

Being in a fandom on TikTok is so exhausting. They don't understand fandoms at all and whenever someone posts about a non-straight non-canon ship they go like "BUT THEY'RE NOT A COUPLE, THIS CHARACTER BLABLABLA" like dude. I know. Wtf.

Oooor people just make a meme video (literally just saw a rdr2 meme video, ya know using that "hey you guys wanna go get some d-e-s-s-e-r-t" sound) and others go "it's a good game but people ruin it with weird shit like this". First of all... Jesus Christ, people are just having fun. Secondly, if a game (or any piece of media) gets RUINED for you because of a meme video or a ship edit or fanart....... I'm afraid you're the weird one lmao. How would that ruin a game for YOU??

(Unfortunately in that meme video's comments I saw the creator responding to a comment that said that with "at least this isn't charthur or vandermatthews or whatever that weird shit is". So. Uh. Goodbye. Idc if people dislike those ships but with these people it's clear they find them so gross bc they're two men.)
