not virtue signaling or nothin but how do you draw white people

its odd 2 me a lil bit that when ppl dont wanna draw darker skin tones they just make em ashy or say they dont know how cuz its always been the opposite for me. i think this is cuz i never rly learned how 2 mix colors around to get a skin tone, ive just gotten really good at colorpicking a starter skin tone and working from there. but every time i try 2 do this with lighter skin tones THEY look ashy, and i HAVE just changed characters race before cuz it was easier to draw when im coloring. any1 kno how 2 draw white people? or know a tutorial on em?
