Having a Brave Little Toaster relapse... I love Radio so much. Original childhood blorbo...

I think Great Animal Rescue shaped my media preferences / writing style right out of the gates of my childhood. I used to beg my parents to rent this movie from Blockbuster over and over and over just for Him and it's so very burned into my brain...

Yes, give me the little guy who spends a 5-minute montage doing his best, falls short, and gets yelled at by his friends until he slinks off to die alone in a dark corner, deliberately sacrificing his own life to save his friends... The last words he hears are a snarky, "Hey, Radio- Any bright ideas?"

No final words from him. Just a quiet curled-up boy in the back of the room while everyone else is in the foreground... dying alone, feeling hated, but surrendering his vacuum tube anyway... THAT is true love.

To this day, I still can't watch Radio's death without crying. It's been so long, but I still love my brave little boy...
