i love effie and monty so so so much i personally do hc effie as a slytherin smth about the potter men always going for one he he and monty …
i think about monty the most, i’ve mentioned this before but he reminds me so much of the dad in call me by your name, especially his view on the world and life on that last monologue, especially in this part

monty who just always wore his heart on his sleeve, who was so curious and hungry for love, i personally think of him who always fell for the person first and looks were just a secondary thing, if i’m honest i’ve never thought about him as straight.
i also see him as someone who worries greatly about being a good parent but mainly human and genuine example of a person to james. that he cares so much about james understanding he can be flawed and that’s okay too and that he never wants to put any pressure in anyway yet he struggles to give himself the same kind of kindness.
i sometimes think i see myself more in monty than i do in james but oh well, that’s a different conversation.
as for the blacks i rarely think about orion and when i think about walburga i think about this post by @del-stars when it comes to black family takes she’s my go-to source every time. particularly her thoughts on walburga i will eat up are just yum yum
