Heartbeat
The soft green cotton jolted with each thud of the huge heart below him. Tord curled his fingers into the threads, trying to ignore the way his body rose and fell along with the ground.
He'd given up.
He-he couldn't do this anymore-the constant terror, the persistent panic-attacks, the ever-present dread that a looming shadow would drop down and snatch him, crush him, tear him, break him-He couldn't-not anymore.
He wouldn't've lasted that much longer, anyway. He hadn't been able to borrow any food for days, not when the mere thought of stepping outside of the walls would lock his limbs and send him spiraling for hours.
He was already weak from malnutrition, but furthering his stuggles was the constant, worsening pain in his stump. He couldn't even do the most basic of functions because he was missing his whole right arm-So he gave up. No point in trying to escape, again, not when the black-eyed bean had the senses of a bloodhound.
So here he was. Splayed out on the huge chest of a sleeping human.
Holding back a flinch when he was jarred by a particularly powerful beat of the heart, he tilted his head, looking across the expanse of green at the chin of the snoozing human.
Edd, he thought his name was. He seemed nice enough. Maybe he would kill him quickly. Maybe-!
Tord stifled a yelp when a massive hand suddenly dropped over him. He lay paralyzed, heart nearly bursting out of his chest, bracing for when the crushing fingers inevitably clamped around his slight frame.
Nothing happened.
He eased one watery eye open, pointedly ignoring the way his breath came in shuddering hiccups.
Right. The bean was still asleep.
He forced his trembling limbs from the tense, rigid position they'd locked in. Right.
He took a shaky breath.
Soft light was filtering in from between the cracks in the human's-Edd's-fingers. He focused on the dancing light, shifting with every rise and fall of the human's chest. It was actually kinda soothing.
The weight from the events of the day finally crashed down on him, the last of the adrenaline rushing out of his veins and leaving him feeling weak and trembly. He was exhausted.
Maybe-maybe he'd be fine. He just wanted to sleep, even just for a little bit. He-he was hidden from view, under the-Edd's hand. He would probably be fine if he just...closed his eyes. Just for...a...little bit... .. . . . . .
There's a new FNAF VR DLC coming out on Halloween.

Its like Ned bear, No one is gonna take him seriously.
Unless we do take him seriously.

A preview, I guess. Third time's the charm, this was gonna be a video but bla blah Tumblr sucks. I needed a ref of Edd next to the castle cliff, so this was born. (My first two attempts at posting this were much more enthusiastic, I'll have you know)
I feel like raging, or even rage baiting, and i have to check in with myself and go “you dont want to cause drama and chaos (you do- no) you just need to eat something :)”
