Guess who just got extremely excited about an app to measure light pollution at night and went through all the hassle to download it right fucking now (which is a massive fucking pain because of how my phone and family's phones are configured and connected) only to remember I live in Canada and it is summer...
God fucking dammit, I was so excited. I'm going to go out and measure twilight light pollution instead (which is a meaningless measurement because the pollution is from the sun and therefore not actually pollution)
SUITS 100: *SPOILER ALERT*
THE GOOD THINGS:
1. SHIELA SAZS AND LOUIS LITT RETURN Tbh I always thought they were perfect for each other. I was sad to see her go because I understood they wanted different big things in their life, but didn’t really see Tara as able to keep up with Louis (she didn’t). Most of all, it was great seeing Louis maintain his cool and try to be happy for her at the moment, even though he wasn’t okay, which leads to...
2. DONNA AND LOUIS’S ROOF SCENE Sarah Rafferty mentioned earlier that it was very beautifully shot and wonderfully done, and indeed it was. I have loved loved loved the louis x donna friendship ever since it started, and I typically love seeing people as a team care for each other. this was very evident, great job PJA. it was so pretty <3
3. RACHEL ZANE Rachel took nobody’s shit this episode and I was AALLLLL here for it. First telling Mike that he needs to let her in on things because she’s not a damsel in distress and second for taking the time to think of an alternative plan to make sure Gallo doesn’t testify. Stop looking down on Rachel!! She’s smart and intelligent and charming and I’m tired of her hiding behind Mike’s shadow, telling him to be a good person. Also, she was the one who coached Louis, offered Donna a night out, and then kept her from doing that terrible thing.
4. Gretchen YAY, GRETCHEN!!
THE BAD THINGS:
1. HARVEY AND DONNA (of course) Y’ALL THIS IS THE 100TH EPISODE, YOU’RE REALLY TELLING ME YOU COULD NOT PUT A SCENE WITH THESE TWO? it’s the seventh, it’s the 100th episode, and frankly i’m just flabbergasted. not a single scene. I could go on and on about this, what the fuck.
2. MIKE AND HARVEY I was really hoping to see them back to being batman and robin? but besides the scene where they go over to each other’s apartments to barely talk, the conflict was resolved, largely due to Robert Zane. It was such a dramatic case but I thought it fell a little flat. I was also kind of confused how everything was going down so if someone would like to explain the legalities of everything that happened, please do.
3. All this cheating??? I’m not point any fingers here but it seems like after Paula’s here, everyone’s just doing the immoral now. Louis and Sheila? Done deal. What an awkward (but admittedly entertaining phone call) Donna and Mark? The fact that the writers made Donna dwell on it for so long upsets me too, because she is obviously not that kind of woman. I really wished they’d stop writing her as someone who goes irrationally forlorn and lovesick as a consequence of Harvey’s actions... Fam, she’s stronger than that *eyeroll* But still, bless her for not going in. I really thought Louis was going to stop her, or they were going to stop each other.
4. ALSO I’M SICK OF HARVEY AND PAULA BEING PAINTED AS THE PERFECT RELATIONSHIP WHEN DONNA IS STILL STRUGGLING. MY GIRL DOES NOT DESERVE THAT, THAT IS JUST A SLAP TO THE FACE
5. I MISS JESSICA
but anywho.. catch ya next week
The essay that was due two days ago which...
I still have no idea what Ima write
or....

I have
zero intention of starting

I really KNOW when I do NOT wanna do something!
coz I can’t do it for SHIT.
What if nothing "strange or supernatural" happened throughout October, how would the Mercs react to that?
Spy - He’s incredibly suspicious. Someone must have done something to stave off all the supernatural activity. Or some evil entity is planning an assault for the very end of the month, saving all their antics for the last minute. He’ll be doing quite a bit of digging all month in an attempt to get to the bottom of this.
Sniper - He doesn’t really care. If something happens then he’ll handle it, but if something doesn’t then that’s even better. Why waste so much thought on it? He does keep his weapons a little closer this month, though, just in case. Doesn’t hurt to be prepared.
Medic - He’s kind of disappointed. Nothing exciting is going to happen? At all? What is he supposed to do all month? He might try to stir up his own trouble just out of boredom. Maybe summon a demon or hold a seance or try to curse the enemy Medic with black magic. Anything for a little action.
Scout - Every year he forgets that strange and supernatural stuff is supposed to happen. He’s too busy planning a Halloween party that no one will go to and putting together his Tom Jones cosplay costume. He won’t notice unless someone reminds him, and then he’ll just say, “Oh, huh. That’s cool I guess.”
Pyro - They probably don’t think anything about the strange events that always happen in October because “strange and supernatural” is just their norm. They won’t notice this year that nothing special happens. Everything seems special to them due to their pyrovision.
Soldier - He doesn’t know what month it is. He hardly cares that it’s Fall. He’ll definitely know when its Halloween, though, and will be a little confused that nothing wild is happening. But other than that, it goes unnoticed by him.
Heavy - His reaction is similar to the Sniper’s. He figures if you spend all month worrying about it, then you’ll just suffer twice if something does happen. However, he has the added responsibility of trying to keep Medic from doing something stupid. That by itself is a little stressful because you can’t really control that man.
Demo - “I don’t trust like that.” He spends the entire month waiting for something to try to kill him, or turn him into a frog, or anything-! He’s incredibly on edge and the longer nothing happens, the worse it gets. When October ends with nothing notable happening, he is thoroughly freaked out.
Engineer - He’s extremely relieved that they can finally have a nice, quiet October for once. He spends all his free time relaxing. It’s like a nice vacation.
It has come to my attention that there is a band called “We are Scientists”
And none of them are actually scientists.
...
I’m really not sure what to do with this information.
