On M'Ganns desk at the library could be found what could best be described as a care package on steroids. Inside could be found various lotions, shower items and candles and a dark blue knit sweater. The box also contained a box of chocolates, a mug and a bag of peppermint hot cocoa. The note inside read "Merry Christmas to my FAVORITE Martian! xo, Babs"

The two senior librarians, Vuk and Ilija made a grand scene of presenting each item as M’gann opened the care package and were only the tiniest bit put out to discover that such a fabulous gift wasn’t from a boyfriend. All three of them were entirely content by the time the hot water was on to make the peppermint hot cocoa, with M’gann wearing the nice dark blue sweater, of course.

A metallic purple gift bag could be found in the doorway of the room Helena had claimed. The contents included various spices unique to the Sokovian region and then several that Helena preferred to cook with back home. Also included was 'winter wear' knit set, all in purple and gold, including a hat, gloves and a scarf. The note inside reads: Glad to have you here. Merry Christmas, xo Babs

Helena hadn’t expected to get anything for Christmas, but then again... She probably should have, what with Babs knowing she was coming. 

She picked the gift bag up carefully from her doorway, taking it inside with her. And when she looked inside, well... A large, private smile pulled at Helena’s lips as she looked over the spices Babs had picked out for her, both familiar and unusual. They were almost as great as the soft-knit purple winter-wear that she already knew she’d get good use out of. 

“Thanks, Red,” she said into the quiet of the room, pressing her smile to the note. It looked like she was going to be spending that evening doing some cooking.

A simple red and gold giftbag is left beneath the tree with Diana's name on the tag. Inside would be found a box of Sokovian chocolates, a bag of hot cocoa mix, a sweater in Diana's size to match the color of her eyes and a quality stationary set. The note inside said: Thanks for helping me feel welcome in my new home away from home. Merry Christmas, Di. xo, Babs.

A warm smile curved Diana’s mouth as she unearthed the contents of the bag Barbara had left for her under the tree. Snow pattered against the window and the winds howled, but all she felt was warmth as she stroked her hand over the sweater Barbara had picked out for her. All simple things on their face, but their intent was wrapped deeply in love and care. 

I want you to be warm. Such a lovely sentiment. Diana smiled to herself, carefully selecting a chocolate and passing it between her lips. As the flavor exploded over her tongue, she closed her eyes. 

What a beautiful holiday it had been.
