Luna had been avoiding the Glaive for a while now, he wondered why. And for once, he was letting the thought of her consume him.
Did I do something wrong? Did she finally decide to she’s had enough of me? Did she decided that us together here and now.. isn’t worth it?
He chugged back the bear he had in hand, throwing it aside along with the other ones he had drank in the past hour. I’m such an idiot. Never did he let himself get like this, he promised himself that he would never sink so low, but with Luna it was different. usually he could hide behind every snarky remark, just shrug it off like it meant nothing, but with her, he let her take over, break his walls and allow her to do something she he has never let anyone do: He let her in.
Reaching into his mini fridge, he broke off another cap and sipped away. Drinking was indeed his worst habit. Today he resides in his room held back in Lucis. He would go back to his apartment, but the past few days he was backed up with work so he thought, what the hell. ❝ Damn it all. ❞ He sighed and let another wave of liquid flow down his throat as he swallowed. Before he drown in another hour of his thoughts, a knock came at the door.
❝ I’m busy. ❞ He snarled, placing down the bottle. When it came again, he gave a roll of his eyes before opening the door. ❝ I sad I’m— ❞ Catching glimpse, his eyes met with Luna;s. Shock overcame him. ❝ Sorry. ❞ Was all he could say before sitting at the edge of his bed. There he sate, bare chest and sweat obviously leaking from his temple. It was clear he was having a rough time.
‘ I’m sorry for intruding. I just.. ‘ Luna spoke softly, fiddling with her thumbs as she looked away from him. She walked into the room, standing not to far from Nyx.
He shrugged his shoulders, not letting her feel bad for it, she shouldn't’ Though he did wonder why she was here after avoiding him for so long, he didn’t want to call her out on it. ❝ No worries, don’t stress on it too much. ❞ It did bother him though, so he would mention it, just in a more discreet way. ❝ Listen Luna.. I knwo you have a lot on your mind, but I just.. ❞ He sighed, already hating himself, but still continuing. ❝ Look, if you don’t wish to see me anymore I under— ❞
‘ I’m pregnant. ‘ Point blank, she spoke out. No warning, just the full truth.
He didn’t know how to react, but turning to her, the look upon her face told that she was not lying. ❝ Really.. ? ❞ All at once, all of it was hitting him. He didn’t know how to face it. Nyx was going to be.. a father. Luna nodded, tears filling her eyes as she moved closer to hold his face. Simply asking, was he happy. Nyx closed his eyes, feeling the touch of her upon his skin.
❝ You really know how to turn a mans world upside down huh? ❞ No one has ever seen it, but she was about to first hand. His eyes damped as he took her in his arms, never wanting to let her be. ❝ Of course I’m happy.. I never thought I be a dad but.. thank you Luna. I love you. ❞ They were both a blubbing mess before he finally pulled her in to capture her lips with his. Kiss deep as the two basked in the other’s love.
