🇬🇪☀🏞🍇🥂✌Wine Tbilvino, "Kvevris" Rkatsiteli - a classic Georgian white wine
The history of Tbilvino begins in 1962, when one of the most powerful wineries in the Soviet Union was launched at that time. For a long time, it remained an integral part of Soviet industry. In 1990, the development of the enterprise received a new round associated with the modernization of production and the expansion of the range of the company. The plant turned into an independent winemaking company with a new philosophy and innovative approach, which began the rapid development of both the infrastructure and the increasing complexity of the presented wines.
Rkatsiteli began to produce wine in Georgia in 1943.
Grapes, Rkatsiteli grown in the zones of Cardenahi, Tibaani, Tsinandali, Gurjaani and Napareuli, undergo alcohol fermentation with stalks, skin and seeds, as well as using French and German noble yeast cultures.
Qvevri clay vessels buried in the ground are used as containers. Only a few months after the end of the fermentation, the solid particles are separated from the fermented juice. Such a long stay with pulp and combs gives the taste a richness and complexity. Wine is bottled after filtration in spring or early summer.
At the TEXSOM International Wine Awards in 2016, Kvevris Rkatsiteli won a silver medal, in 2015 and 2012, the International Wine & Spirit Competition awarded him bronze awards, in 2013, 2012 and 2011. competition "International Wine Award" - with gold medals.
The aroma of Wine is pleasant, fruity, captivates with hints of peach and apricot, as well as the nuances of white meadow flowers. The taste is dense, harmonious, with sweetish and grassy tones, light bitterness and a long citrus aftertaste.
