Who would’ve thought Nizuma Eiji from bakuman would look like lance from voltron.
Ps, I never would’ve notice the resemblance without @orange-cheetah pointing it out to me. Thx bro

13. What’s the best writing advice you’ve ever come across?
Write constantly. Tbh it was more along the lines of “write every day”, but with how busy life can be, a lot of times that’s impossible. But I’ve noticed that when I don’t go too long without writing, even if it’s just 200 words every few days, it makes it easier to be able to sit down and have the words come to me, whereas the longer I stay without writing, the harder it is to go back to it.
20. Describe your perfect writing conditions.
I’m alone in my room. There’s a cat sleeping on my lap. The weather isn’t hot, or at least I have the A/C on. I’m listening to whatever music gets my inspiration going. No one comes to talk to me the entire time, and the writing flows without interruption.
28. Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.
It’s so hard to pick just three because holy shit there are so many amazing fic writers out there that I love. I’m going to pick three that currently still write for my biggest fandom, which is the todobaku fandom.
@chosenofkagami - Kaga’s writing is just, like, wow. I feel like I’m reading a novel. It flows so perfectly, and her descriptions and characterizations are A+++. She does something that I find so hard to do, which is to write something multichapter while still keeping a great pacing and keeping you on the edge of your seat. Her creativity and ability to weave a plot together by adding bits and pieces here and there - holy shit. I’m completely obsessed with how she’s building the story in Neon Clocks. Also she writes the best sassy Todo I’ve ever seen.
@ninannarambling - Nin’s writing reminds me of sitting in front of the fire with a cozy blanket and a steaming cup of tea. I think they do something that’s, like, one of the hardest things to do as a writer imo, which is to make the narration really become the point of view of the character. I think there’s a name for this - stream of consciousness? I don’t know if that would be the right technical term but it’s that thing where you really get into the character’s mind, it’s like you’re there with them and become acquainted with their deepest thoughts. And to do that while still keeping the characterization perfect, as Nin does, is something I really admire. Also I can’t help but mention the beautiful imagery and prose because damn, it’s writing goals.
@xenophonspeaks - Xen’s writing is the kind that just pulls you in. He’s got a way of making you feel what the characters are feeling that just amazes me, it’s so intense. And I love the way he can take the simplest situations and make them seem so fascinating? Like, I’m used to writing AUs and creating whole fantasy universes, but to take something simple like, say, meeting in an autumn day and going to get a coffee, and write that in a way that makes it feel so special and unique - that’s really amazing and takes a lot of talent to do imo.
oops I rambled too much
