It’s come to my attention that I haven’t done an actual written post in a while. Not sure how many of you, my beloved followers, actually read the musings of a cat, but I thought I’d just share an update on my life using my mews instead of the unauthorized pictures Mom takes.
First off, Mom & Dad have declared that I have “orange cat syndrome” because I am getting fat. Long gone are the days of when the vet exclaimed how lean I was for an orange cat, and apparently now I am being classed as the average orange cat, because I like to sleep three days in a row and then spazz out for a good hour on the forth day before resuming my rest. Haven’t been to the vet since, and am not looking forward to when that day comes. Hell, Minnie is now the “thin” sister and she used to weigh twice as much as me. I guess that’s what happens though when you lounge around while your dumb black-furred sister runs around like a maniac half the time.
Speaking of Minnie, I’m a little upset and appalled that 6 of the 9 best photos for 2015 off our instagram were Minnie pictures. Where’s the ginger love? Though I shouldn’t complain, as my humble blog here, all about me and not Minnie has more followers than our combined instagram. So ha!
Life otherwise is the same. Mom favors Minnie. Dad hates Minnie because she is constantly bombarding him with unwanted snuggles, trying to steal his food, and continuously follows him from room to room the minute he gets home.
The little human is still here, nearly 11 months after Mom & Dad brought her home. She’s not the most terrible thing. Possibly less annoying than Minnie, but that’s still to be determined.
