What’s your favourite Rider / series?

I'm still pretty new to the franchise but W is my favorite so far! Wizard has my favorite design, though, so I'm really excited to be drawing for it!

Experience with the franchise / tokusatsu so far

I got into tokusatsu last year largely because of Ensemble Stars!' Chiaki Morisawa, who is a huge tokusatsu nerd in canon. I'm also a long-time fan of AAA, who sang the OP for Den-O, so it's been on my radar for a while, but I'm so glad I finally started watching because it's been so much fun! I also learned that one of my IRL friends has been a closet tokusatsu nerd for years and has seen every single KR (and SS) and more, so now we have a new thing to bond over! There's so much to get through but I'm really excited to watch all of it!

If you were a rider, what would your catchphrase be?

10: How would you describe your style?

Good question. I’m going to take this to mean my style of like. How I dress. And I’d pretty much describe that as usually I just aim for comfort unless there’s an aesthetic I’m really feeling that particular day. And even then it’s still going for comfort. I like to think that my style is “chill and laid back” since I usually put 0 effort into how I look/dress but still try to at least keep a general aesthetic?? Idk if that made sense. 

20: How tall are you?

I am 5 feet and 6 and a half inches tall! I’m a little salty about it because when I was a little kid the doctor would always be like “you’re going to grow up to be 5′9″ based on all these cool science predictions” but it did not happen but hey at least I’m taller than my mom right

30: What’s your favorite candle scent?

I don’t really know? Vanilla maybe? I’m not really a candle person. I absolutely despise spice scents though, like pumpkin spice/apple spice/all of those. Dunno why but they give me a headache. When I was a kid my mom would have this air freshener that would alternate between pumpkin spice and apple spice and every day I would smell it and then find it and then unplug it and hide it and then the cycle would repeat every day because she kept plugging it back in. 

40: How many times have you been to the hospital?

If you mean just like being in a hospital and not being actually like admitted or anything then a bunch of times. First I was born, and then I had to go to a different hospital right after I was born so that counts as two times, and then I went to the ER like 5 separate times (maybe more) as a kid/teen because I’m super accident prone, and also my doctor’s office was inside the hospital for a while so if that counts then add like 10 more times. And if you count nursing homes as hospitals then a bunch more times like 3 years ago when my grandpa died. But I can’t recall ever being actually admitted except when I was in the NICU as an infant! 

50: What was the last text you sent?

“still can’t drink it though” after my brother told me one of the cans of ginger ale actually hadn’t exploded like he thought it did

Okay I guess I should give context: so as most of you probably know, if you get a can of soda too cold it will like. Explode. Especially if it gets too cold too fast. Anyway so yesterday my mom turned the fridge off because there was a huge chunk of ice growing in it or something but my dad later on was like “why the fuck is this fridge off” and turned it to like. Maximum coldness. So half of the soda in the fridge exploded. It was ridiculous. A testament to why communication should be maintained between members of a family.

60: How many pictures do you have on your phone?

Don’t judge me but I have 4401 pictures on there. Four thousand four hundred and one images. Most of them are pictures of my cat.

70: What was the last concert you saw?

I’ve actually never been to a concert! I almost went to see Panic! at the Disco at my college last year but I didn’t have money or friends

80: What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who say that they’re listening to your argument/point of view/whatever but then their “rebuttal” to your statement is like. completely contradictory and it sounds like they didn’t actually listen to you or actually address any of your points. Along the same vein, people who refuse to listen to opposing views and people who believe fully that they’re right just because they’re older than you/your parent/etc. And just when people blatantly misinterpret a character or a scene or a story or just basically anything, especially something I really care about/relate to and then don’t listen to reason. Wow that got long. I also hate long fingernails but I’m not about to super hardcore judge anyone for growing their nails out I just don’t like scratchy scratch.

90: Do you wash your face? At night? In the morning?

Hoo boy this is semi embarrassing but I like barely wash my face. I just kinda scrub it a bit during my showers I don’t have like a whole face care regimen or anything. I’m a disgusting excuse for a human I know I’m just not motivated to care that much. 

100: Who was the last person you cried in front of?

My dad I think? It’s hard to tell because I cry a lot and I’ve lost track of exactly who witnessed it the last time but most of the time it’s my dad so I’m going to say him.

SOUR CREAM - What’s your favorite type of music?

Post metal, darkwave, industrial, and experimental/instrumental/electronic stuff like Ben Frost/the Haxan Cloak/Blood Hex/Amon Tobin are the most consistent types of music I reach for.

SUGILITE - What makes you feel strong?

Finishing tasks and doing chores/tidying/cleaning, especially when other people have expressed reluctance/resistance to do them. At least, it makes me feel capable and efficient. If I’m doing tasks/chores because nobody else will, even though they should and I’ve already asked them to help, then I also feel resentful towards those people to a degree, but mostly I end up feeling useful/capable. 

PEEDEE - What did you want to be when you grew up?

Veterinarian, especially for horses and birds of prey.

Well whoops I was tagged a while ago by orangiah and I figured I should actually do this thing, even though I'm basically the least interesting person on this planet insecurity um this is kinda tough because I'm an insecure person but I'm just insecure in general? like not about anything specifically, but I basically think I'm mediocre at everything and even though I know other people don't see it that way, and I know I could be good at things if I put in the time and effort but I don't have any motivation whatsoever, so I kinda just sit around being my mediocre self and wishing I was better than that. also I'm always worried about what people think of me and I'm pretty self-conscious. fears uhhh so my sister is convinced I have lepidopterophobia, which is basically the fear of moths and butterflies, and it's kinda true? like I really really don't like moths because of the texture of their wings and I also hate butterflies because they fly randomly and I don't want them running into me so basically I avoid butterflies and moths but I'm not quite sure it's a phobia. other than that I don't really like pain and there are probably plenty of situations I would be scared in, but I don't have any other major fears turn-ons ok well. so sexually, I dunno, but there are some people's smiles that are wonderful and make me super happy. also when people have a nice laugh or good voice. life goals ahahahahaha time for my least favorite question ever. I really want to just curl up in a ball and sleep forever, but I know I can't do that, so I guess I'd really like to find something I like to do besides play video games and watch anime. It'd be great if that something was something I could make a living off of, but otherwise I'd settle for a job that I don't hate so that I can support myself and use my free time to play video games and watch anime. I'm not very ambitious. things I like I really like learning about people. I'm terrible at holding conversations and I'm just really bad at talking to people in general but I like reading things like this and getting to know people better even if I don't ever talk to them. like, odds are that if you've ever tagged me in something like this I remember little random things about you and when I see your url on my dash I'm like, “oh that's blahblahblah and they really like cheese” or something. also I really like books and food and video games and anime and manga and webcomics. weaknesses I procrastinate, and it can get pretty bad. I always do my work but if I know I can put something off, I will. I just really don't like doing work, and I hate sticking to a schedule. also I have absolutely zero motivation for just about anything. and I'm really bad at finishing things, even things like video games that I actually enjoy (I probably have at least 30 video games that I've started but haven't finished) also I have a really shitty memory things I love I love hxh and kh and radiata stories and ffx and zero escape and lsk and kubera and anything by naoki urasawa and anything else I've listed in my about page. I love all the characters from all these series. I also have some absolutely wonderful friends that I love, and I have an especially wonderful seastar that needs to stop baking and making me fat. well that was long and probably pretty boring.
