Okay but consider-
Orc guard who is in love with you (prince/princess?). He’s so good at his job because he would still kill anyone that tried to look at you sideways regardless of if he was getting paid or not. You’re the first human to ever be kind to him, and one of the few people to not make fun of him for not having tusks (a very rare genetic mutation among orcs).
“Well, you not having tusks will just make it easier for me to spot you in a crowd, and I’ll know you’re mine,” your bright smile almost makes his knees give out.
You think of him as yours.
