About orchestra competitions:
Souther: Now, number your measures so that when i say, "35" (raising pen-baton thing and glances around expectantly. Lowers baton thing). The judges will take points off if you hesitate or sit there and count.
Kaye: (disbelievingly) They take points off!
Souther: I would too, because it's really annoying when i call out, "thirty five" and you sit there, counting, "one...two...three...four...five..." And if I said two hundred: "One...two...three...four...five..."
Nino: No, that's when you start counting by twos.
