It was a train wreck.

Explanation under cut

The night started off fine. Me and some friends where hanging out before pre show rehearsals. Dancing and goofing off and what not.

Practice starts and we're pretty ok. A little slow on one song but over all ok.

Show starts and younger kids play. They sound ok for their grade. My orchestra is hanging out in a hallway talking chatting all that

Then its our turn to play. We go up get ready and play.

If you played a car crash after our performance you would not be able to tell the difference.

We played three songs. Only two were planned. [One was a combined with the younger kids]

The first song was now planned. Atlantis of the sands. Tell me why we were A) dragging B) out of tune and C) why their was at least three seconds of silence.

The younger kids could not tell and most of the audience didn't. But trust me it was bad.

Das zweite Lied kommt herum. Mozart. Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. We dragged. It wasn't that bad.

Until the combined peice.

Mariachi suite. The first one started off ok by the second we were falling apart and I dont even want to talk about the last one (some middle schoolers had the audacity to say it was the best one)

Another thing that pissed me off was the fact that we had to set up seats and stands in a hasty manner. TELL ME WHY IT WAS ME ANOTHER KID AND THE TWO TEACHERS SETTING THEM UP.

Why couldn't the middle schoolers help? Or the other people in the orchestra???

But yeah.... fun
