i've actually been thinking about this for a month or so but didn't get the courage to make it real. now it wasn't me who made it real, it was the autism. the autism says i do so i do.

A little grin emerged upon Hanbei’s lips as Ranmaru protested in such a ruffled manner. He was well aware how steadfastly the page tried to retain a stern, hard-hearted demeanour around his Lord, but his self-consciousness became plain as day once he left his side.

Such was evident by Ranmaru’s sudden need to reaffirm his presence was not unwanted. The jest in the strategist’s voice disappeared as he spoke softly, “I wouldn’t have offered you a seat if I thought you would disturb me, Ranmaru.”

His smile was genuine, as were his feelings. Despite spending little time together, not once did Hanbei consider the page a bother. His eyes strayed to the night sky once more as he spoke again.

“You should be more confident in yourself. Faking it will only get you so far, you know?” He uttered. Perhaps the remark seemed a little blunt, but he meant no offense.
