“Hey, Teach! What are you up to at this hour, hm? Shouldn’t you be... Doing Teach-y things?” He leaned a bit closer, a grin on his face. “What, not even a smile?”

“I can’t taste the tea but I am rather fond of chamomile. I’m sure you had a hard time finding this because I’ve noticed you looking on the ground at the gazebo lately”. Dimitri felt bad that the professor had to run around and forage for things in the wild that weren’t that expensive at the market. Was the Church’s funds not enough to afford tea or was it his fault for breaking all the weapons she had bought for him to use in battle?
@orderbringer ( academy days starter call ).
@orderbringer liked for a short starter.
“Not quite. Swing your weapon with a bit more of an arch.” Jeralt instructed his child, “You almost had it that time.”
Seemed like they were doing some faculty training today.
obsidiansong: Berith vc: "She started it. A week ago."
orderbringer: Byleth vc: "Don't listen to Berith. She lies."
“Can we get an actual adult here, please?”
“What in Seiros’ name...”
â„’ ((FUCK ME UP I WANNA READ THIS))
It had been years since Claude had last seen Byleth, and he wished it hadn’t been like this. He wished it could’ve been someplace else- Not the battlefield, not when she was against them. She was Blue Lions, through and through; He should never have had his hopes up that she would’ve come to him-
But there was a feeling in his chest, a tightening, one that he was all too familiar with. One that had been present for years before- One that he hadn’t known what it meant at first...
He hadn’t even realized, when she had fallen, why it hurt so much. Not until now. He thought it was because she was a dear friend, a mentor to him- But now? Now he knew better. He recognized this pain, he knew what it meant...
He had fallen for the professor at some point, and it was only now that he was realizing it-
A time that she was going to defeat him, and the remaining members of his house. Unless he beat her first, but even then- What was the point? Dimitri would be the one to defeat him, then; They may have been friends before, but he had changed, they had all changed. And now, he didn’t know if his past friend would be so forgiving.
If he were to die... Let it be by Byleth’s sword. It would be suiting for him; The person who had taught him to trust, and one final betrayal.
Steeling himself, Claude entered the battle. And for once, he truly hoped this would be his last.
âžś - smack my muse upside the head (I'm so sorry)
He’d turned down eating with Ashe and Flayn to flirt with one of the girls from Golden Deer, chatting her up for almost two hours before she agreed to meet him in town for dinner tomorrow night. He was looking pretty proud of himself as he strolled out of the dining hall, heading for his next conquest, when he felt someone smack him right on the back of his head.
“Ow! What the hell?” He spun around to see Byleth standing there with her usual blank, yet judging (towards him) expression.  “Aw come on, professor, what was that for?”
“If it’s alright, I’d like to take a closer look. You never know if it could get infected.” The man said, holding out his hand to make sure that he could see her wrist with her permission. “I apologize for the sudden intrusion, I was just making some rounds and saw you patching up.”
