How do you know it was an elevator?

it said so on the caller ID. anyway i just googled it & it’s specifically a business that provides elevators that’s named in a way that makes it sound like it’s a specific elevator. there’s like a 2% chance it was the actual business getting a wrong number & a 98% chance it was scammers pretending to call from the phone number belonging to the elevator business to make themselves look legit on caller IDs.

he said he left it not on the desk so there wouldn’t be a chance of it getting accidentally knocked over onto the various computer cords & other bits on the desk which makes some kinda sense i guess, i just wasn’t prepared for him to open a drawer & pull out just an open drink in a normal drinking glass

errr i’ll be honest i’m not hugely ok with the phrasing of this just bc of the word “slave” is that weird??

it’s terrible i really really can’t?? i can do some like tiny phrases in regional american accents (like queens or the valley girl accent) but other than that i’m hopeless. you’d think growing up bilingual would help but nooooo
