Secret Meeting: Abstract Mixed Media painting on a 36x48" gallery wood panel. Wire tree, flowers with 33 crystals. I add #artresin to protect the painting and this adds a thick shiny surface.
This was an intuitive painting, and I really enjoyed playing with the painting. I always say, when I am creating art, it is like a beautiful dance, and I feel my body flowing into an altered state and time seems to stop. When done, I turned the painting for a week, to see what way it wants to be presented. I love finding faces and things in my art. As I turned the painting and sat staring at it, I would see different things; like a turtle shell, one way. I noticed two figures merging, like they were floating from two different worlds. On the left; a female mermaid riding a wave and to the right; a wise man on clouds. I sensed a forbidden love and a secret meeting. When I started adding elements to the painting, it was like it was speaking to me and I got a sense of great sadness, so I poured healing energy into each step. I twisted the wires and heard a song of endless love but at great risk. I added the pink apple blossom, known for love, romance, and new beginnings (Sims, 2024). When I learned about Orgone generators, which has wire, crystals and sealed in resin, I started developing Energy paintings. This is in my private collection and not for sale.
