I do my best to avoid talking about things that aren't game design on this blog; this is a professional space and I have high standards for what I do and don't post. That said, I want to put this in front of my followers' eyes:

I was a victim of the spiritual New Age when I was younger and it almost killed me. High control groups & communities like this one rely on isolation & instability to keep their victims pliant, committed, and eager to spread the word. In whatever way I can, I want to be a counter-force to that. Chapter 30: Surrendering

What is it to surrender? Is it to allow, is it to be unattainable or is it to LET GO? I’m learning to surrender to time, to discipline, my intuition, to the call, to God, to MYSELF. I release control of things I have no control over. And to those Thing I have control over, May I handle that in flow. releasing expectations, Releasing the “right” way, perfectionism, releasing overthinking

It, releasing shame, guilt, fear, the need to prove myself, self judgement, self destruction behavior, patterns, releasing the need to be Perfect and overachieving . I embrace the flow of what comes in and out of my life, & that it carries away what no longer serves me. I surrender to the flow and release control.

This word also reminds me of water. And as water is fluid, so is memory. We can shape both into whatever perspective we may need in the moment. Both carry’s feelings, and it can stir up emotions and causes waves and tides within us creating chaos, creating storms. But after those storms and waves what is there? Shifts and calmness. How would water be able to flow if it was to just be still at all times, it would continue to carry all that was in it from times past and now. But it has to move, so it does. And that’s exactly what this word expresses and showed, it serves as a reflection as to how we can move like water, like memory, like SANFOKA…
