The first and early version of the Origin album cover compared to the final version.
In Origin, the last track Eternal ends with a short piece called Demise. This is the looped, pitched and slowed down version of the main guitar melody in Field of Innocence.
The poem written by Ben Moody that Field of Innocence was based on. Ben also can be heard reading the poem in the song. There might be some missing or wrong words and lines of the poem as it's difficult to hear. I've created an isolated version to make it easier to hear.
As the years pass by before my face
As wars rage before me
Finding myself in these last days of existence
This parasite inside me I forced it out
In the darkness of the storm
Lies an evil
But it's me

I'm a very emotional person so I get swept up into music very easily. Just have to say that Evanescence's Origin album is so good. Everyone should listen to it. It's an emotional album for me.
