3 years off of hair-pulling (technically not diagnosed, but I wanted to explore Trichotillomania for a uni brief).
“PLUCK OFF!” is a play on words of the phrase “F*** OFF” (hope I don’t get a telling off from tumblr for that idk).
Colours were based on the unofficial pins representing trich.
All done with scanned digital drawing, monoprint for texture, then Riso print for the text 👍

This beautiful girl is inspired by our local Rhine mermaid, Lorelei ! It was made with the aquatint technique and hand printed onto ivory Arches paper using à Vincent Moreau press. (Printing session still going).
Its dimensions are 38x48 cm (image : 13x18 cm)
It was imagined as a reward for the Association Poisson Balistes’ fundraiser. Association Poissons Balistes (Trigger Fish) is a collective printmaking studio based in Strasbourg, France. We host artists who need specific tools and resources to make etchings and Linocuts. We also teach printmaking !
