I AM THOU, AND THOU ART A BURGER KING KID

I don’t know why I got so attached to this idea, but imagine another universe where there is, for some God-forsaken reason, a Persona game set in America in which every party member’s persona is a fast food mascot and among them is vaunted 90′s Burger King mascot Kid Vid from the Burger King Kid’s Club.

It was actually really fun to look at old promo art of Kid Vid and Burger King commercials featuring the BK Kid’s Club gang doing stuff. That’s also where I discovered that Kid Vid had…electric powers?

Also, here are some concept sketches, just because it as that fun of an idea, hahaha

This was actually the first sketch I put together, but the scribble in the bottom-right came after the next concept. I don’t know why I didn’t just slap a backwards baseball cap on his head from the start as opposed to…whatever that thing is in sketch number one.

The proportions in this one just seemed to be more “cool kid” energy than the next idea I had, so I ultimately fell back on this one.

Kind of reminds me of StarMan.EXE from Mega Man Battle Network, haha.

I think I was specifically thinking of Zorro and Robin Hood’s interpretations from Persona 5 and Take-Mikazuchi in Persona 4 with the proportions in this one. For some reason, it was in this more robotic design that I added a normal baseball cap… I tried searching, “90s sci fi” and “90s robot” to see if there were any trends in robot designs back then, or some kind of 90′s vision of what high-tech or cyberpunk material would look like, but…I didn’t find much to build off of. :T

600 Milestone!

Hey guys so I’ve decided for my 600 milestone to do the sentence starters again. I love them and they are so much fun!! Also I wanted to ask if you guys would be interested in reading a original short story I’m going to be writing for my school newspaper, if you guys want me to put it up on here let me know (it wouldn’t be for a little while)! But as of right now my inbox is open to sentence starters. Thank you again guys for 600, I’m still in shock! Lol

I thought to myself last night, “I should draw myself as a Sonic clone OC.” And then I sketched this out, and today I realized it to completion.

I started asking myself about what kind of animal villager I would be if I was in Animal Crossing, last night. I ended up with a bird in glasses and a wolf that cooks, haha.

And now I’m gonna go start up my copy of New Horizons.
