After all that happened with Katerina...Katherine...whoever she was, Elijah walked slowly back to the compound. Hardly in any sort of rush to deal with his siblings. Tensions were higher than they had been before they found Hope, which was something of a mystery in itself. Niklaus’ attitudes towards him was far worse and he knew if they weren’t careful, it was not going to remain peaceful...not with the mood he was in. However, upon actually enterting the home it seemed relatively quiet. A small miracle. Immediately, he found himself reaching for the bourbon, pouring far too much and taking it down instantly, only to pour himself another glass and stand in the middle of the room. He knew he couldn’t tell his siblings what happened with Katerina, for her own protection. Rebekah and Niklaus each wanted her head and he was often powerless to stop them. Freya, would likely fall in line and Kol would likely just mock him. The last thing he needed. It was far better to keep quiet, which meant he needed to find some sense of composure. It wasn’t often he found himself turned entirely upside down. but it did happen, with her. Letting out a final breath he moved to where he could hear Rebekah, taking a seat without worry. They had a little tiff the night of the citywide engagement, but he paid it no mind. “Bonnie has seemed to desire to protect Hope from us, as our dear niece seems to hold no desire to know her parents, I have half a mind to let our brother know so he can act all too rashly. One less witch,” he shrugged, taking a sip of his drink before continuing, “Katerina is now a demon, and Hope was taken by someone named Illyria. Please tell me you have some better news.”
