School is a double sided blade. No matter how hard I avoid getting cut I still end up having scratches. I love my friends and I love the environment. I'm a 4.0 student, I work hard and take part in the community. One would think someone so involved and dedicated would love the experience of education. Maybe before, but this year it feels like a cage. I've already skipped a day.. faking an illness because I didn't have the nerve to get out of bed. I'm afraid that this is what growing up is like. Complain, complain, complain. What's the point? To get it off my chest because I'm afraid my friends hate me for complaining so much. I want to be me again. I've been in this pit before.. and I crawled out of it changed. No longer care-free and bubbily but instead anxious and always looking over my shoulder. Always aware of my body. Feeling each joint creak. Feeling my feet brush against each other with each step forward. Am I breathing to loud, or to much? I better yawn to catch up with it. I want my confidence back. Where did it go? I want my motivation back. Where did it go? I want my passion back. Where did it go? If found please return
