(Yeah, the characters don’t know who exactly you’re talking about--different time, different rulers--but I’ve been needing to work on their designs anyway.)

Magical duels are pretty much the sport for mages and monsters, but you have to have a high enough HP to participate for safety reasons.
Yeeep, Dark!Ferris is a fighter. In a world where “kill or be killed” is the common philosophy, you learn a few things on the streets.
I wasn’t really sure at first how to answer this, since they’re still kids at the start of the series and haven’t really done anything to accumulate any heavy ‘sins,’ much less a high LV. But then I realized this would be a good time to dip into some fun I’ve been having with the characters on the side if they were placed in an AU. This is basically them if the story was in the UNDERFELL AU: The world a lot crueler, the people colder, and the trio a little more willing to fight in order to live. Ferris would get a grip on her magic sooner and try to take care of herself and Ciara for a while by becoming a thief. Castellar’s training would fall on skills as an assassin as well as a mage. He’d be assigned to bring Ferris to the Boroughs and the Guild alone instead of with Tobius or to somehow shatter her DETERMINATION and kill her if she refused, but got dragged along in her and her sister’s messes and started to like her after a while.
I need to get my tablet fixed...
Castellar’s not really bad at them, but he can wear people out with them and he’s a little self-conscious about making them as most of his family either loves them or hates them. Ferris is hard to irritate, so she’d probably go back and forth tossing puns with someone until they ran out. Ciara likes them to a point, but it really just depends on her mood for the day or the person it’s from. She pretty much thinks anything Ferris does is wonderful, so she loves her jokes. She’s already set her opinion on Castellar though, so pretty much anything he does is going to annoy her.
